6. Where will we transfer your personal information?
We will process your personal information both within and outside the UK and the EEA (European Economic Area). We may transfer your personal data to service providers that carry out certain functions on our behalf. This may involve transferring personal data outside the UK. Whenever we transfer your personal data out of the UK to service providers, we ensure a similar degree of protection is afforded to it by ensuring that the following safeguards are in place.
We will only transfer your personal data to countries that have been deemed by the UK to provide an adequate level of protection for personal data. We may transfer your personal information outside the UK and the EEA to Canada. The UK government has decided that commercial enterprises in Canada provide adequate safeguards in relation to personal information which is transferred to or accessed from Canada. The UK government has deemed that Canada provides an adequate level of protection of personal data (known as an 鈥榓dequacy regulation鈥�) further to Article 45 of the UK GDPR.
We may use specific standard contractual terms approved for use in the UK which give the transferred personal data the same protection as it has in the UK, namely the International Data Transfer Agreement.
