Ukraine crisis: what it means for British farmers

As the crisis in Ukraine develops, our members' thoughts will be with those coming to terms with the devastating effects of the conflict. We can barely understand what life must be like for millions of families living in a war zone. At times like this, the business of food and farming is put into perspective.

We know that many of our members have watched in horror at the events unfolding in the Ukraine and so many want to do something to help. After the Disasters Emergency Committee launched its appeal, the NFU has donated £25,000 to support those fleeing conflict in Ukraine.
