How can I get involved?
To make T Levels relevant, employer involvement is needed now and throughout the life of the qualification. Involvement can include:
- The validation of assessment materials
- Reviewing the qualification and its content
- Participation in a T Level Strategy Group
Help from employers and individuals across crop production and livestock production is needed to help develop T Levels and create a qualification matching industry needs.
Validation
City and Guilds are the awarding body and they need farmers and growers to help colleges standardise learners work. Do you have 3 hours of time to help the launch of T Levels?
Farmer and grower volunteers are needed to help City and Guilds validate learning materials. The commitment is 3 hours involving:
- A virtual onboarding meeting lasting one hour.
- A small amount of background reading lasting no more than one hour.
- An online meeting discussing validation of materials – again no more than one hour in length.
All volunteers will be offered a payment of £30 per hour by City and Guilds in recognition of the time given to this work.
