Cattle farmers in England have the opportunity to anonymously express their views in the survey which seeks to understand farmers鈥� awareness of changes to bTB (bovine TB) compensation introduced in 2018 in England to incentivise farm activities that contribute towards lowering disease risks following public consultation.
What will I be asked?
The survey will also look to gain insights into the types of activities that farmers engage with to reduce bTB risk.
You will be asked questions on:
- Your farming system.
- Management responsibility.
- Locality.
- Your understanding of compensation.
- Which methods of reducing the risk of bTB Breakdowns you use.

How will my feedback be used?
This research contributes to ongoing work on improving awareness toward bTB management in England and will form part of a research report for Defra. Data will be entered into a database, guaranteeing anonymity and confidentiality throughout.
