Agriculture is facing numerous challenges when it comes to recruiting workers. How have other businesses in your experience overcome this?

What lessons can UK Horticulture and Agriculture learn from other sectors to achieve the government policy required to support growth in the sector long term, such as employment and immigration policy, science and innovation investment policy, food policy and energy policy?

How would you rate the Government's response to rising inflation out of 10?

I strongly refute the comment that the current situation with energy prices is a ‘cashflow issue’. We are in an energy *crisis*. The enormous 100%+ rises in inputs, many directly linked to energy, are pushing cost of production far beyond any reasonable end product price. A ‘cashflow problem’ suggests that future revenues will cover these increased costs of production. In many sectors this is simply not feasible. This remains a crisis and support is needed to prevent a mass exodus of UK agricultural and horticultural business from the industry. Why are these businesses not being better supported?
