NFU Bulletin email – make sure you're getting the NFU's key communications

Farmer reading email on a phone

Are you signed up to the NFU's weekly national newsletter? Are you missing key communications due to your email provider's spam filter? We explain how to ensure you never miss your NFU mail.

NFU Bulletin is the NFU’s member-exclusive, main, weekly newsletter, sent to more than 42,000 subscribers in England and Wales every Wednesday.

This email is your first port of call for national headlines and urgent communications from the NFU and is open to all NFU membership categories.

How can I sign up?

All new Farmer & Grower members are automatically enrolled onto our mailing list. But if other membership types and family members (if under a family membership) want to sign up, they can do via their membership area on »Ê¼Ò»ªÈË.

  1. Log in using the green button, located at the top right hand of your screen on a desktop, or at the top of your screen on a mobile.
  2. Once logged in, using the drop down arrow on this button, select ‘mailing lists’.

Why are my emails going into spam?

Multiple factors influence why different email clients, such as Outlook, gmail, Apple Mail, and google android to name some of the most popular, may be filtering legitimate emails into your spam.

As scammers become more sophisticated with their spam emails, email service providers are constantly improving and changing how they detect issues with emails before they even land in your inbox.

Mark the NFU as a saved contact

All of the NFU’s emails are sent from the same domain: @nfu.org.uk.

You can ensure your NFU email doesn’t accidentally get sorted into your spam folder by saving [email protected] to your email contacts.

You can usually do this by selecting the email address on the email itself which will prompt a list of options, one of which will be ‘add to contacts’ or ‘add to address book’.

Alternatively, you can navigate to the email in your spam folder and either move it to your inbox or mark it as ‘not spam’. This tells your email provider that this is from a sender you want to receive communications from. Your email provider will continue to learn how to filter your email based on your behaviour.
