New regional director for NFU South

Tom Rabbetts has been named as Regional Director for the South region.

Tom joined the NFU in 2010 and has been working as head of the bovine TB unit since 2016. His appointment follows the promotion of former Regional Director Mel Squires to become the NFU鈥檚 Director of Regions and Membership.

Mel said: 鈥淚'm delighted to be able to announce the appointment of Tom as my successor. He has been leading on all our efforts on bovine TB, and along with his fantastic team has done the most amazing job across the country. We wish him every success.鈥�

Tom will start his new role at the beginning of March.
