What do you do to make your farm safer? We put the question to our NFU officeholders and members. Find out what they had to say.

You shared your tips with us as part of Yellow Wellies’ Farm Safety Week. But farm safety is about every week of the year, and these small measures could make a big difference.

1. Voice your concerns

NFU President Tom Bradshaw advises farm workers to raise any concerns they have about the safety of farm equipment with their managers.

“The last thing you want is for an accident to happen and for you to be looking at yourself in the mirror and thinking, ‘had I only done something’.”
