Job Title: Head of Trade and Business Strategy
Salary: c. £80k to £90k (Dependant on Skills and Experience) plus company car or car allowance
Location: Stoneleigh, Warwickshire with agile working
Working Hours: 35 hours per week
Contract Type: Permanent
The National Farmers’ Union (NFU) is the biggest farming organisation in the UK. What you’ll bring:
As the Head of Trade and Business Strategy at the NFU, you’ll be responsible for setting the Department’s pathfinder strategy; leading, motivating and developing a talented professional team; and, ensuring the NFU creates the positive business environment in which our farmer and grower members can thrive.
You'll bring a nuanced understanding of the broader political landscape, with the judgement and analytical skills to navigate complex issues. You will have a demonstrable record of success, with the drive to achieve meaningful results in challenging policy environments.
You’ll bring a specialism in one or some of the following areas, international trade policy, agricultural economics, rural estate management or fiscal and taxation policy and be capable of building impactful connections with stakeholders in government and the business community.
